During the Covid Pandemic LTC made a number of short films on shoestring budgets and we have always included performances of specially commissioned script in all our Bloomsday and Joyce based events.
Bananas
Made during the pandemic on a shoestring budget with as skeletal crew, this Shortt film has been awarded laurels at many International Film Festivals and has won Sinéad Lunny, who plays Rose in the film, a special mention at the International Women’s Festival in USA.

Kite Flying with Dickens
Don’t work with animals, children or inexperienced actors. Well that’s the general admonition and especially beware of doing so in the middle of a pandemic? Alistair did all three and the Fegan family responded admirably. Made again without a crew other than John Fitzsimons (Principal Photography and Ryan O’Rourke (2nd Camera and Sound) and on a tiny budget. The music is by celebrated Rostrevor Folk Musician Tommy Sands.
